USB KVM Interface Cable

Connect Sun, Mac, laptop or PC (USB) computers to your KVM switch using these neat, intelligent interface cables, available in different lengths to suit your application.

The USB and Sun interface cables deliver high functionality multi platform KVM connectivity at low cost, and may be used with any PS/2 style KVM switch. Miniature 'keep alive' circuitry is moulded into the cables to ensure problem free computer operation even if the KVM switch is powered off. An intelligent communications system enables the active circuitry within the cables to work in close partnership with Adder MP Matrix and 108 MP switches to provide enhanced functionality.

SUN KVM Interface Cable

Rackmount-Computers has a comprehensive range of high quality cables for connecting our KVM products to your equipment.

All our KVM switches for PC platform support both PS/2 connections and also the older style AT keyboard/RS232 mouse. We have developed a 'combo' cable which combines the VGA video cable with the PS/2 cable for keyboard and mouse (see photo). This cable style is very convenient because only a single cable is required for each PC connected and also the connectors are colour coded to the latest specifications to ensure correct identification. Users with the older style PC AT keyboard/RS232 mouse connections can order the cable complete with the adaptors required. Standard lengths and part codes are listed below, but please contact our sales desk if you require different lengths.

Rackmount Kits

Most of our products can be fitted into standard 19" racks and special rack mounting kits.

AdderView OSD (4 port and 8 port models) 1U high

Kit consists of two metal brackets which bolt onto either side of the AdderView OSD products (screws supplied)

AdderLink and AdderLink GOLD 1U high

Kit consists of metal shelf with cutout for CAT5 connector and access to status LEDs. Set of screws included for fixing AdderLink unit onto shelf. If you require to mount both ends of the AdderLink system you will need to order two kits.

SmartView PRO range

SmartView PRO products are supplied as standard with the rack mount brackets, however if yours have been lost you can order replacements using the following codes:

SUN KVM Interface Cable

Rackmount-Computers stocks a remote control module which replicates the keyswitch and display on most of our KVM switch range.

With the remote control module you can select an alternative CPU by pressing the button and see which CPU is currently selected on the display. The module is small and compact so it can easily be attached to your keyboard or the front of your monitor, or any other location required. Various cable lengths are available but please contact our sales desk if you require any other length.
